After graduating from university, Ayumi Fujimoto joined Career Design Center in 2002. She worked in sales and managerial roles for job advertising media and later joined Google in April 2007. After serving in roles related to agency relations, she became a sales manager. After leaving Google, she founded the General Incorporated Association at Will Work in May 2016. Following various roles, including PR Manager at Design of Money Corporation, she started her career at Plug and Play Corporation in March 2018 and currently oversees marketing and PR as the Executive Officer CMO. In March 2022, she established the General Incorporated Association Startup Ecosystem Association and became the President. She is a Minerva-certified instructor in the United States and, from 2023, serves as an ambassador for entrepreneur education under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and a specialist committee member for the Startup and Investment Working Group under the Cabinet Office Regulatory Reform Promotion Council.

Ayumi started her career at Career Design Center in 2002. After working as a sales manager at Google, she founded at Will Work in 2016. After working at Money Design, worked at Plug and Play K.K. as CMO, overseeing marketing and PR. 2022 founded the Startup Ecosystem Association and became its president. She is a Startup Strategy Fellow at Tokyo Metropolitan Government, an Ambassador for Entrepreneurship Education Promotion at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and an expert member of the Startup and Investment Working Group at the Cabinet Office's Council for Regulatory Reform.
